1. Service Agreement
By engaging Aurum Interiors for design services, you agree to these terms of service. Our commitment is to deliver exceptional interior design solutions that reflect your personal style while maintaining the highest professional standards. All projects begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your vision, lifestyle, and functional requirements.
2. Design Process & Timeline
Our design process includes initial consultation, space analysis, concept development, design presentation, and implementation oversight. Project timelines vary based on scope and complexity, typically ranging from 3-12 weeks. We provide detailed project schedules and maintain regular communication throughout the design journey to ensure your vision comes to life seamlessly.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to provide accurate space measurements, disclose any structural limitations, and communicate preferences clearly during consultations. Timely feedback on design proposals and prompt approval of material selections are essential for maintaining project schedules. Access to the space during agreed-upon times is required for accurate assessment and implementation.
4. Payment Terms
Design consultation fees are due upon booking. For comprehensive projects, we require 50% deposit upon contract signing, with remaining balance due upon project completion. Payment can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or cash. All prices are quoted in Uganda Shillings and include consultation, design development, and project management services.
5. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, and creative materials developed by Aurum Interiors remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon completion and payment, clients receive usage rights for their specific project. Our design concepts may be featured in our portfolio and marketing materials unless specifically requested otherwise in writing.
6. Material Selection & Procurement
We provide professional guidance on material and furniture selection based on quality, durability, and aesthetic compatibility. While we recommend trusted suppliers and vendors, final purchasing decisions rest with the client. We are not responsible for product defects, delivery delays, or quality issues from third-party suppliers, though we assist in resolution when possible.
7. Project Modifications
Changes to approved designs may incur additional fees and timeline adjustments. We accommodate reasonable modifications to ensure client satisfaction while maintaining design integrity. Significant scope changes require written approval and may necessitate contract amendments. Our goal is flexibility while ensuring project quality and timeline management.
8. Limitation of Liability
Aurum Interiors provides design consultation and creative services. We are not liable for structural modifications, electrical work, or plumbing changes unless specifically contracted for such services. Our liability is limited to the value of design services provided. Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local building codes.
9. Cancellation Policy
Project cancellations must be communicated in writing. Consultation fees are non-refundable. For ongoing projects, clients are responsible for work completed to the cancellation date plus any non-refundable deposits paid to suppliers on their behalf. We strive to accommodate client needs while maintaining fair business practices.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding personal information, lifestyle preferences, and project details. Photography of completed projects may be requested for portfolio purposes with client consent. We do not share client information with third parties except as necessary for project completion (suppliers, contractors, etc.).
11. Contact & Communication
Primary communication channels include WhatsApp (+256 709 339 723), email (ariamyohane@gmail.com), and scheduled in-person meetings. We maintain professional communication standards and respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours during business days. Emergency project issues will be addressed promptly.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels in Uganda. Our commitment is to maintain positive client relationships and resolve any concerns professionally and fairly.
